  • East Hollywood Los Feliz Homeless Coalition Request for Proposal 2016

    Purpose of Proposal

The EHLF Homeless Coalition is seeking a contract for homeless outreach in its area to begin in fall 2016

    Organization Background

The East Hollywood Los Feliz Homeless Coalition (EHLF) is a group of community members working together to address the homeless population in our community. The group includes local politicians, local residents associations, business leaders and faith groups. Our goal is to identify strategies, which help to effectively house our homeless neighbors, meet the challenges of the current housing crisis and build a better community for all its residents.

  • EHLF Homeless Coalition Needs Your Help!

Last year our newly formed coalition found success in the formidable task of fundraising to bring a full time homeless services outreach team to our area. Since then we have enacted an action plan to address some of the problems associated with homelessness that affect our neighborhood quality of life. Most recently EHLF hosted a “Forum on Homelessness” with Councilmember O’Farrell and Councilmember Ryu as well as representatives from LAPD, LAHSA, The United Way and Housingworks. Our group is continuing its commitment to develop effective strategies for helping both housed and homeless residents affected by the current crisis, but we need help:
